If you find available a lower accommodation rate on a website other than www.phoeniciamalta.com, we would match that rate amount and provide you with a further 10% discount with same terms & conditions as found on the competing website.

    To claim for our Best Rate Guarantee

    One must provide a screenshot of the competing website displaying:

    • Website address.
    • The room category being booked.
    • Travel dates and number of nights.
    • Rates in hotel local currency (Euro).
    • Rates inclusive of VAT and tax breakdown.
    • Board basis and other inclusions.
    • Number of adults and children.
    • Cancellation and deposit / pre-payment policy.
    • Captured date & time.

    Please include contact information: full name, email address and phone.

    The screenshot should be sent to [email protected] same day the lower rate has been found on the competing website.

    Must have made a direct booking on www.phoeniciamalta.com same day the lower rate has been found on the competing website.

    Booking arrival date must be at least 72 hours prior hotel check-in time.

    Terms and conditions

    • Claims are processed between Monday and Friday from 10:00 to 16:00 hotel’s local time and may take at least 2 working days before we contact you back.
    • Claims due to foreign currency exchange or rounding differences are not valid.
    • Claims are considered if the comparison is made on online public accommodation rates only and must have identical terms and conditions, travel dates, number of people, board basis, inclusions, cancellation, and payment terms. Therefore, same booking criteria.
    • In case of multi night stays, the average rate is used for comparison.
    • Rate comparison is made net of taxes, fees, inclusions, or additional charges added to the accommodation rate and always in hotel local currency (Euro).
    • The lower rate on the competing website must still be available and bookable at time of verification by the hotel.
    • The Best Rate Guarantee is not applicable if:
      • Accommodation rate is classified as a package.
      • The booking made on www.phoeniciamalta.com involves a third party such as Travel Agent.
      • Comparison is made to offline rates, group rates or corporate rates.
      • As a requirement it is mandatory to book via a specific channel as required by the membership programme to be eligible for membership benefits.
    • The Phoenicia Malta has the sole right and discretion to determine the validity of any claim, including without limitation, determining that the lower rate found is genuinely available and that the claim meets all terms and conditions.
    • The Phoenicia Malta reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend the Best Rate Guarantee policy at any time and without prior notice.
    • The Phoenicia Malta cannot be held responsible for any charges incurred from cancelling your booking made with competing websites or third parties.
    • The 10% discount is calculated on the accommodation rate net of taxes, fees, inclusions, or additional charges added to the accommodation rate.
    • The initial booking made on www.phoeniciamalta.com will be cancelled. The discount will be applied to a new booking made directly by the reservations department and you are responsible to cancel the booking made on the competing website.
